New Rainbow Over Bridlington
Last week the BBC reported that Bridlington was bucking the trend in a
worldwide recession. With businesses closing across the UK,
Bridlington has seen an increase in new ventures. In the midst of this
boom is a new hotel proudly flying the rainbow flag.
Just 1 minute walk from the Spa on Horseforth Avenue and boasting
sea views this luxury 7-bed hotel is all en suite. The Swallow is more
than a hotel as those looking for a more independent holiday also have
the option of booking one of 2 self contained flats in West Street.
Proprietor Ludwig Sittler said, “Flying the rainbow flag seemed like the right thing to do.”
His partner and co-proprietor, Paul Sharpe added, “We had been concerned that it may impact
our business but demand for rooms in a gay owned hotel means we have been fully booked
almost every week since we opened in August earlier this year”.

Message : Hi Paul and Lou

Thank you so much for my recent stay in you hotel.
The first thing that struck me was the friendliness of you two, I was made to feel comfortable and welcome from the moment I stepped out of my car.
Your hotel stands out from the norm. by its ultra cleanliness, comfort and welcome. The decor is pleasing and interesting, not the usual 'Magnolia'.
My bedroom, although you said was one of the small ones, was more than adequate, comfortable and bright and very welcome after a long drive in wet cold weather.
Many, many thanks, good luck and I know all your customers will be has delighted as myself.
regards
Ron.

Paul/Lou

We stayed at the Swallow on Friday night 4/12/09 for 1 night. Your place could not have been anymore convenient, great location for the Spa Theatre where we had tickets to See Paul Weller. Our room was the cleanest hotel room i have ever stayed in and the Swallow hotel in general was impecably finished and clean throughout. The full english breakfast on Saturday morning was a great way to start the day.

Thank you so much for your hospitality and we will definatly be staying with you again on out next trip.

I wish you all the best with your expansion plans in the near future.

Yours sincerely
(A very satisfied customer)
Duncan

Hi Lou and Paul,

Just a brief note to thank you for your splendid hospitality when I stayed with you earlier this week. I was impressed by the presentation and cleanliness of your hotel, the food was excellent but most of all I appreciated the friendly atmosphere which was splendid.

Best Wishes,

Andrew Smith
